Har-ta!: Faster!
"I wish you well": good bye, farewell
Ka-la-na: A sweet wine made from the fruit of the ka-la-na tree. The drink is often thought to symbolize romantic love.
Kal-da: A beverage, served hot from copper kettles, of cheap ka-la-na wine and the juices of the tospit fruits, such as tospit and larma, and fiery spices. Served like beer, it is cheap and will get you drunk eventually, and is actually pretty good, until you get to the bottom of the kettle.
Paga: A grain liquor made from Sa-tarna, it is similar to whiskey/vodka and is symbolic of physical love.
Rarius: Gorean for "Warrior." (plural is Rarii)
Robe of Concealment: Most women of Gor, especially those in the high cities, are required to wear such Robes if they are free.
Tal: Greetings, hello., This form of greeting is reserved to free persons only; slaves must make do by saying "welcome" or "greetings." It is also customary that the word Tal also be used as a form of farewell. This is perhaps due to the fact that every time those who frequent the tavern say goodbye to one another, they wish the other to know that they hope to greet him again in the future.
